Browsing the website
You do not need to set up an account to look at advertisements and information on the site.
You need to create an account to put on your own advertisements.
Small Ads and ‘What’s On’ ads are free.
You can set up an account if you want to be sent alerts about new advertisements or information on the website.
Searching for properties
You can use the drop down menu on the right hand side of the page to search for properties by department and/or type in a region, village or postcode in the box to the right .
You can also search by location, number of bedrooms, property type and price. On the properties for sale page you can search by condition – for renovation, habitable or no work needed.
On the holiday rentals page you can search by occupancy, number of bedrooms, distance to airport and whether there is a swimming pool.
You may use one, all or none of these criteria to refine your search. For rentals you can check boxes to see if properties have wheelchair access or if the owners accept pets.
There is a check box if you want to see only private advertisements or only agency properties. If you do not check this box you will get all properties.
Advertisements that match your criteria will appear in list form, the most recent ads appearing first. You can click on an advert title, photo or ‘More Info’ to get more information on an individual property.
On each advert you can click the ‘Send e mail’ button to contact the advertiser for more details or to request a viewing.
Searching the business directory
To search for a business you can use the drop down menu to search by business category, then type in a village or postcode in the box on the right.
Advertisements that match your criteria will appear in list form, the most recent ads appearing first.
You can click on an advert title, photo/logo or ‘More Info’ to get more information on an individual business.
On each advert you can click the ‘Send e mail’ button to contact the advertiser for more details.
Searching the Small Ads
To search for a small ad you can use the drop down menu to search by category, then type in a village or postcode in the box on the right.
Small ads that match your criteria will appear in list form, the most recent ads appearing first. You can click on an advert title, photo or ‘More Info’ to get more information on an individual small ad.
On each small ad you can click the ‘Send e mail’ button to contact the advertiser for more details.
Searching the What’s On Page
Use the drop down menus on the right hand side of the page to search by event type and date range.
You can type in a village or postcode in the box to the right. Events that match your criteria will appear in list form, the most recent ads appearing first.
You can click on an advert title, photo or ‘More Info’ to get more information about an event and you can click the ‘Send e mail’ button to contact the advertiser for more details.
Advertising your property or business
To place an advertisement you need to create an account. This will only take a minute.
You can click on the create an account button at the top of the page or you will be asked to create your account when you click on the Advertise Your Property or Advertise Your Business buttons.
Creating an account
To create an account you need to fill in your e mail address, name and address and choose a question from the drop down menu which will be used to recuperate your password if you ever forget it.
Once you have filled in the answer to your secret question and pressed the Create an Account button, you will be sent your password immediately.
You can change your password later in the ‘Manage account’ page to something easier to remember.
Managing your account
Login to your account from the top right hand corner of the page.
Once you login you will reach your Account Home Page. From this page you can place an advertisement, change or update your details and change your password.
If you have already placed advertisements, you will see a list showing their status – active, pending or suspended.
You will see when your ad was placed, when it expires and can place, edit, renew or cancel.
